The American target archery round is an Archery GB round that is shot at yard/imperial distances. You need to shoot 3 different distances in the American round and you only get 6 arrows of sighters (one end) at the longest distance.
The American is shot on a full size 122cm target face and you score the round using 5 zones scoring. This means working with the coloured bands of the archery target. So 9 for gold, 7 for red, 5 for blue, 3 for black and 1 for white.
The total arrow count on the American round is 90 arrows and the maximum score you can get is 810.
You shoot 30 arrows in ends of 6 at all the 3 distances.
The American round is shot at 60 yards then 50 yards and then 40 yards.
